It's Monday and day (6) of the road-trip and needed another cheese-steak fix. Although I have not been here in a couple years I knew I had to get here. Today will be a double header, I have another place I need to visit as well. As I pulled into the parking lot I see it was full, a good sign. I walked in and the it cool and clean, doesn't look like a road side joint but the food is. I just ordered the cheese-steak and drink, I had my fill of fries so no fries today. It came with provolone and fried onions, there is a choice of cheese too. I choose the provolone for it stays better on the steak. And all sandwiches come on a Amoroso roll, the best. And as far as service, order at the counter and they bring it to your table in a timely manner. In the defense of the other reviewers that gave less than (4) stars, I had heard years ago and it had been several years, the quality was suffering and it could have been a supply issue but on this day it was not...with the amount of people coming and going all must be good. If you find yourself on RT49 in P'ville it's a must stop. Peace.
This is one of my favorite places to just come in comfortable and enjoy a great meal no matter what I order. Everything we have tried has been a new favorite! The staff, especially the original crew... they may need some work- seems like they're all in a great mood every day! Keep it up!
I eat here quite a bit and have never had anything i didnt love. Their jalapeño poppers are the best around as are the burgers. Oh and the chicken cheesesteaks and fries. Its all good :)
These burgers are KILLER! We have loved their sandwiches, but the burgers keep bringing us back. OK, AND the Bacon Cheese Fries.
I love this place!! It's immaculate, the workers are friendly and accommodating, and the food is exceptional!!! My favorite is the meatball sandwich...homemade meatballs+ homemade sauce= yummmy! However, you can't go wrong with a cheesesteak, burger, footlong, crab cake, or hot roast beef sandwich... Oh yeah, I almost forgot... Chili cheese fries to die for!!
